Howard University/ Firefighters Burn and Surgical Laboratory - Medstar Washington Hospital Center
Davon T. Lee is currently a 2nd year medical student at Howard University's College of Medicine, and student researcher at The Firefighters Burn and Surgical Laboratory of Washington Hospital Center and Georgetown University's School of Medicine. Prior to beginning medical school, Davon was a registered nurse at New York-Presbyterian Hospitals of Cornell and Columbia Universities. He spent 1 year in adult med-surg, 4 years in the operating room, and 1 year in the PACU. As a medical studnt, Davon completed the West Coast Plastic Surgery Mentorship program throughout year one, with a mentor assigned from The University of Washington Seattle. He also spent the summer going into his second year with the plastic surgery department at The University of Kansas. Davon currently serves as the president for Howard University's Plastic Surgery Interest Society, a clinical manager in the student run New Freedmen's Clinic, and a mentor to undergraduate pre-med majors and 1st year medical students.
