In 1993, Dr. Paul Wallace, MD founded Wallace of Beverly Hills, the aesthetic component of Wallace Medical Group, Inc., and continues to serve as its Medical Director. A native of Los Angeles, Dr. Wallace's educational path included UC Berkeley, Harvard Medical School, University of Missouri-Kansas City, and Oklahoma University. He did his internship in General Surgery, graduate training in Dermatology, and a Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery fellowship, all at the Charles Drew/M. L. King, Jr. Medical Center in Los Angeles. For the past 25 years, he has been a teaching staff member at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserve after 23 years as a highly decorated specialist in Military Trauma (Wound Ballistics) and Tropical and Infectious diseases.
Dr. Wallace is on the Board of Advisors of multiple pharmaceutical companies and is a national speaker. He has been doing clinical research for the past two decades and has participated as a principal investigator in over 100 dermatology studies.
Dr. Wallace utilizes “cutting edge” technology and is knowledgeable in a wide array of techniques to address issues in health and safety, medical, and cosmetic problems. In Beverly Hills, he works as a consultant and technical advisor to Paramount, Disney, Universal, Sony, Warner Bros., and DreamWorks movie studios on creating various skin presentations (burns, trauma, gunshot wounds, and make-up design). In 1991, he started and continued to champion the nationally acclaimed “Second Chance Tattoo Removal Program,” a scar-free removal procedure for all skin types.
Dr. Wallace has 32 years of ringside medicine (boxing) experience and was elected to the Boxing Hall of Fame in 2013. He is currently the Chairman of the World Boxing Council Medical Advisory Board, Medical Chairman, and Chief ringside physician at the California State Athletic Commission, Chairman of the USA Boxing Lead Physician Instructor at the United States Olympic Center, and formerly the Medical Director and technical advisor for “The Contender” (seasons 1, 2 and) on NBC, ESPN and EPIX
