Dr. Cameron Rokhsar, MD, FAAD, FAACS, an internationally renowned dermatologist and fellowship-trained laser and MOHS surgeon, is double board-certified in dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery. A graduate of Harvard College and NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Rokhsar is the founder and medical director of the New York Cosmetic, Skin, and Laser Surgery Center.
An Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC, Dr. Rokhsar is proudly active in teaching cosmetic dermatology to the next generation of dermatology residents. A prolific researcher and innovator, Dr. Rokhsar was involved in the development of the Fraxel Laser, a technology that has revolutionized the field of laser resurfacing for wrinkles and scars. Dr. Rokhsar has been instrumental in the research and development of important technologies such as Thermitight, Ulthera, Vbeam, Miradry, CO2 laser, and plasma skin resurfacing. Early in his career, Dr. Rokhsar invented the Non-Surgical Nose Job and appeared on Good Morning America to share his innovation with the world. An expert injector, Dr. Rokhsar has been a trainer for Allergan (the maker of Botox and Juvéderm), Galderma (the maker of Dysport and Restylane), and Merz (the maker of Radiesse). Dr. Rokhsar has been recognized as a top New York doctor, by New York Magazine and Castle of Connolly, for multiple consecutive years in the past decade. With over 40 lasers and energy-based devices at his clinics, Dr. Rokhsar sees patients from around the world in his state-of-the-Art offices in Garden City and Manhattan, in the heart of New York City.
