Melissa A. Levoska, MD, FAAD is Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed her undergradate degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and her medical training at Wayne State University School of Medicine. During medical school, she was accepted into the NIH Medical Research Scholars Program, where she worked under the tutelage of Dr. Kenneth Kraemer and Dr. John Digiovanna, studying patients with xeroderma pigmentosum and trichothiodystrophy. She completed her dermatology residency training at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Her primary clinical and research interests are in hidradenitis suppurativa, laser and light treatments and cutaneous oncology.
