    Haideh Hirmand, MD, MPA, FACS

    Dr. Hirmand is Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Weill-Cornell Medical College/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. She specializes in aesthetic oculoplastic and facial rejuvenation, focusing on shape preservation, regenerative and new technology. She has pioneered safe injection techniques for around the eyes and is recognized for her shape preserving approach to eyelid and facial surgery. Dr. Hirmand has over 20 years of experience combining surgical and non-surgical treatments for optimal results. She conducts clinical research and has published book chapters and presented numerous scientific articles, in addition to lecturing and teaching surgical and non-surgical techniques, nationally and internationally. She was awarded The Certificate of Achievement in Aesthetic Surgery by The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Hirmand has served as a past Chairperson of the Leadership Committee and The Women’s National Aesthetic Surgeon’s Committee of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and is an active member of its Education and New Technology & Emerging Trends Committees. Additionally, Dr. Hirmand is the Co-Chair of the North American Chapter of the Aesthetic Multi-Specialty Society (AMS), and on its Scientific Advisory Committee. She also sits on the Medical Board of Trustees of MTF (Musculoskeletal Transplant foundation).

    Dr. Haideh Hirmand earned her Doctorate in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and her Master’s in public health administration at Harvard’s JFK School of Government, after graduating as valedictorian from University of California in molecular biology & genetics. She completed surgical training at The New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and was a surgical research fellow at Cornell Medical College and Rockefeller University in the laboratory of the Nobel Laureate, Dr. Ralph Steinman, focusing on molecular immune pathways responses to composite tissue transplantation. She completed her research project at Oxford University and her sub-specialty fellowship in oculoplastic & aesthetic surgery at Paces Plastic Surgery/Emory University. Additionally, she completed the craniofacial & aesthetic fellowship at Paris’ Necker Children’s Hospital. Dr. Hirmand has been in private practice since 1999, and is the founder of Haideh Hirmand, MD PC & SkinLabRx Regenerative Aesthetic Clinic. She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
