    Dr. Yao used to be a postdoctoral researcher in University of California and was a Instructor at the Wellmen Center for Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, School of Medicine, Harvard University. She is now accomplished in the area of Laser Cosmetic Medicine, specialized at photoelectric comprehensive treatment and laser cosmetology of different kind of scars. Currently, she is a member of the Standing Committee of Burnt Surgery of Shanghai Branch of Chinese Medical Association (CMA), simultaneously, Plastic Surgery of Shanghai Branch of Chinese Medical Association. She has successively undertaken the research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education of China, the Foundation for Key Program of Ministry of Education of China, the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality(STCSM) , etc. She won plenty of awards such as Squibb Gold Award, Kwong an Kun Fundation Award, Shanghai Medical Achievement Award and the Research Award of American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery(ASLMS). Till now, she has 152 papers have been published.
